Agreement to Participate in Women in Business Coaching Program

Business Coach-Protégé Program Participation Agreement

Preamble:

As participants in the Women in Business Coaching Program we shall use all of our ability, in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and mutual professionalism, and in a manner that is beneficial and effective for all parties, and provides maximum benefit to the community.

 

Relationships:

We understand that the relationships among Business Coaches, Protégés and CBEC, are voluntary, and can be cancelled at any time.

All parties will foster open, candid and timely communications.


Commitments:


The Business Coach is committed to providing an adequate amount of time. The Protégé is committed to keeping the coach fully informed. CBEC is committed to coordinating the entire effort. Each will act with a sense of support and mutual respect for each other's time.

 

Duties -- Business Coach:

  • attend meetings with Protégé’s
  • prepare initial Action Plan with Protégé
  • review Protégé’s materials (business plan, action plan, etc.)
  • review Protégé’s key indicators (cash flow, marketing plans, business plans, projects, etc.)
  • recommend areas for improvement
  • follow-up on mutual agreements for action
  • monitor Action Plans for follow-through with the Protégé
  • will not disburse any confidential information of any nature pertaining to the program or the Protégés to any third party.

Duties -- Protégé:

  • attend meetings with Business Coach and as prescribed by CBEC
  • present complete and up-to-date information (business and action plans, cash flow, work in progress, etc.)
  • endeavour to implement practical changes mutually agreed upon
  • request assistance as necessary

Duties – CBEC – Program Coordinator:

  • provide oversight
  • facilitate support services
  • run relevant meetings/seminars and network functions
  • receive status reports from Business Coach's

Performance Measures

  • Protégés will demonstrate continuous improvement in their capital, capacity and other key indicators.
  • Protégés will transition from the program at the conclusion of the program.
  • Protégés will show a higher than industry average success rate.
